This is a beta release. I myself [@sethgoldin] have tested this on macOS Ventura and RHEL 9. Please submit issues, questions, and bugs as issues. If I don't hear anything within a few weeks or so, I'll release this as production-ready.

This is a major release, and as per semantic versioning best practices, incompatible with earlier versions. Only DaVinci Resolve 18 and PostgreSQL 13 are supported.

What's Changed

  • Updated paths for PostgreSQL 13 for DaVinci Resolve 18, since that's what's recommended now for DaVinci Resolve 18
  • Updated documentation to specify use of RHEL 9 and macOS Ventura
  • Switched launchd to use daemons instead of user agents, as well as file paths to use /Users/Shared/ so as to not be limited to any one individual macOS user account
  • Switched .pgpass files to use root on macOS Ventura for a daemon and root's home folder of /root on RHEL 9 for proper systemctl permission for root user
  • Updated documentation to explain use of "Project Library" terminology in DaVinci Resolve 18.
  • Updated documentation to drop use of "Studio," since accessing remote PostgreSQL databases is included with the free version of DaVinci Resolve now
  • Changed script names to refer to "Enterprise Linux" instead of CentOS, since CentOS is dead.
