On MacOS OPENSSL_ROOT_DIR might need to be specified. Add -DOPENSSL_ROOT_DIR=$(brew --prefix openssl) to cmake stage

cmake -Wno-dev -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=<install prefix> ..
make install
