Welcome to the ML1_Team02 wiki!
The project topic is "Word embeddings for predicting political affiliation based on twitter data" (topic 8 of 12 proposed).
Task description:
- Build a dataset of tweets from german politicians
- Utilize word embeddings to build a model that predicts the political affiliation of users
- Employ a qualitative analysis of the embedding (specific language of party, which politicians tweet by themselves, politicians that use language differently than their party, ...)
- Catch up to latest research (e.g. “Predicting political party affiliation from text”)
