About the Application

(Google has made multiple policy changes, shifting my career focus on cybersecurity so I have not updated this app to get it back on the playstore. Feel free to reach our or use this source code for your applications, would love to hear about it too!)

Real time, up to date currency conversion values of Dollars (USD) and YEN (JPY).

It's great for traveling, shopping, and cost comparison purposes.

The application uses live API data so you will always have up to date, real time conversion values.

Features

A few of the things you can do with Dollars to Yen:

• Convert Dollars (USD) to Yen (JPY) and a seperate dedicated section to convert Yen (JPY) to Dollars (USD).
• Checks for latest currency rates for (USD) and (JPY) upon launch using API.
• Success and Failure notification for currency updates.
• Functional in airplane mode or no data connection.
• Displays toast with conversion results.
• Displays last recent conversion for the user to quickly refer back to.

  • Swapped rates for more majority of US users’ convenience.
  • Fixed alignment, resized text, and all buttons shaped to oval.
  • Conversions can be executed by pressing enter on keypad, (dedicated convert button still works as designed)
  • Keyboard now intentionally stays open after conversion.
  • Last input data is cleared once converting.
