Several syntax changes, most noticeable:

  • Math block syntax changed from &...& to $$...$$(or $$%arguments ... $$). Also the $$ syntax can be extended to handle other inlined languages than Latex.
  • The environment block syntax is now <!...!>
  • The annotation block is now {!...!}.

Also the internals of relative reference resolution has changed a lot.
