This is Pico's Composer starter project. picocms/pico-composer is the frame for basically all Pico installations starting with Pico 2.1, but doesn't consist of any considerable code itself. It's main purpose is to simply depend on Pico. Please refer to the "Install" and "Upgrade" sections of our main repository for information about how to install, upgrade and use Pico.

This tag is necessary to actually install Pico using composer create-project picocms/pico-composer, otherwise Composer can't find a stable version of picocms/pico-composer. However, please note that we won't update this tag until Pico's next major or minor version (i.e. Pico 2.2 or Pico 3.0) is released. We won't update this when Pico 2.1.1 is released. Simply run composer update to upgrade your Pico installation to Pico's latest version.
