OpenAI API Key

Your OpenAI API key is stored locally on your device and is used to authenticate requests to the OpenAI API. It is not transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Content Data

The text content of web pages you choose to summarize is sent to the OpenAI API for processing. This content is not stored or logged by us.

Analytics

We use Matomo, a GDPR-compliant analytics platform, to collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the extension. Matomo respects your privacy and does not track personal data.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in the following ways:

This extension can be easily combined with Reabble's Send To Kindle extension to provide both a concise summary and the full article, making it perfect for on-the-go reading within seconds.

How It Works

  1. Fetch Summary: Click on the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the popup.
  2. Customize: Enter any additional questions about the article (optional) to personalize the summary.
  3. Generate: Click "Fetch Summary" to generate and insert the summary into the current webpage.
  4. Use: Print the page, save it as a PDF, or send it to your e-reader for easy offline reading.
