Describe the bug

On a mac when pressing a key with the meta key held, that key will be repeatedly input until the user presses it again.

This can be reproduced by pressing command + shift + arrow/m on the title screen.

Expected behavior

Input should be be repeated. With modifiers held, input prob shouldn't be triggered in the first place

It seems like this is a Mac-specific issue, Windows doesn't have a "meta" key and #1288 doesn't mention anything about extra keys being involved.
