How To Run menubox.sh
menubox.sh is a pi-timolo whiptail admin menu interface. Most common administration tasks can be accessed via the menu
menubox.sh allows easy management of various tasks such as
- Starting and stopping pi-timolo.py and webserver.py
- Edit configuration files using nano
- View configuration settings
- Convert h264, Joining mp4's or Make timelapse videos from timelapse or motion jpg files
- Checking Run Status of pi-timolo.py and webserver.py
- Manage plugins
- Manage rclone Media Sync
- View cpu temperature
To run the menubox.sh
cd ~/pi-timolo
./menubox.sh
To navigate menu use the keyboard up/down arrow keys or press the first letter of the menu selection to highlight menu pick. To Run highlighted selection press enter key or press Tab key to access lower menu buttons and enter to run the highlighted button. The tab key will cycle through the top menu and the bottom button selections.
Note If you do not get menu box lines displayed in a putty SSH session. Open the top left putty window icon and select, Change Settings, Window, Translation, UTF-8 from pull down menu, then apply. To make this the default putty, prior to apply select session, default then apply.
