The World Inequality Database aims to provide open and convenient access to an extensive available database on the historical evolution of the world distribution of income and wealth, both within countries and between countries. [On pause for now] It seems like WID is a good example of a dataset where it makes little sense to bulk import everything. Because of how many variables they have (>1000) and the combinations of percentiles they provide each time, it would add a total of 35,724 variables in our database. I've asked the research team if there is a particular list of variables or indicators that they know they'd want to use for research.
