I think, good idea, to use some android's strings instead some strings from app's resources. Android's strings are already localized. I can remove all my comments from resources files if you want.
I think, good idea to add the My location button into Google map. Camera moves to the vehicle location instead user's location if user clicks the My location button on the Google map

Do not move the camera after moving of vehicle
User can see a track of his vehicle for last 24 hours. Also he can see the speed and other values for each location of the car for last 24 hours.

Current version do not displays real track of the vehicle for last 24 hours because current version of the OVMS server do not responses from C33 command correctly. This version emulates the three points of the track.
