Circle released a new "native" version of USDC on Polygon (as opposed to the "bridged" version that the Wallet supports, now technically called USDC.e) and is transitioning to supporting that one exclusively.
Coinbase already exclusively pays out USDC in the new native version.
As some users have wondered what happened to their USDC sent from Coinbase, we now display the new native USDC balance in the address overview, if non-zero.
Native USDC cannot yet be sent with our Polygon fee-abstraction.
