Disabling your browser password manager

Internet Explorer

  1. In Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Select the Content tab.
  3. Toggle the Settings button next to Auto-Complete.
  4. Toggle the User names and password on forms option.

Firefox

  1. In Firefox, choose Menu > Options.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Toggle the Remeber logins for sites option.

Chrome

  1. In Chrome, click the three bar icon on the right corner of the browser and click Settings.
  2. Click Show Advanced Settings link.
  3. Under Passwords and forms section, un-check Enabled Autofill to fill out web forms and Offer to save your web passwords.
  4. Click on Manange Saved Passwords link and delete the passwords there after you save them in your Passman vault.

Opera

  1. In the Opera menu, the click on Settings.
  2. Click on the Privacy & Security tab.
  3. Under Passwords, toggle the Offer to save passwords I enter on the web.

Safari

  1. Go to Safari Preferences.
  2. Select the AutoFill tab, and for AutoFill web forms toggle the option for Usernames and passwords option.
  3. Select the Password tab. Make sure 'AutoFill user names and passwords' is unchecked and use the 'Remove All' to clear any saved passwords there, do this after you save them to your Passman vault.
