CMI: A Conference Management Portal for students at IITJ

Problem Statement

It is common for Ph.D. students to present their thesis at Senate meetings at IITJ. Now, these students can present their work in any format they choose, such as ppt or videos. Keeping the track of all these documents is cumbersome. With the aim of making this process easier, I designed a platform that allows administrators to access all these documents in one place and other students to view them easily. Thus, this project is aimed to develop a conference management portal for students at IITJ to upload their presentations in any format they select, including video, pdf, poster, ppt, etc., and other students or staff members can review them. A specific student will be authorized to upload their work based on authenticity by the admin.

About the portal

Home Page

Home page of the portal from where an Admin/Student can be redirected to be logged in to the portal and can access other pages as well.

Admin Login Page

An admin can enter their credentails to log in to the portal

Member/Student Management Page

An admin has access to authorize a given student/user to upload his/her work by making the account status as Active

Student/Member Login

A student/user can provide their LDAP credentials to log in to the portal

Student Dashboard

A logged in student can access different authorized tabs from his/her dashboard

Upload Document Page

A logged in authorize student/user can upload his/her work on the portal

View/Download Document Page

Any user can review/download the documents uploaded by other users/stduents.
