Privacy & Data Transfer

Minutor will not collect or transfer any of your personal data.

But some features require access to internet locations:

Automatic update of definition files

Minutor queries this GitHub repository every 7 days if there are newer definition files available.

No data is collected by Minutor, but GitHub can track your request and IP.

You can disable this feature in Settings.

Automatic player UUID caching

Recent Minecraft uses only UUIDs to identify players. To be able to show "Jump to Player XYZ" Minutor has to get the information which player name belongs to the UUID.

This query is done via a Mojang API, so Mojang can track your request, UUID and IP.

It is the same information Minecraft may collect each time a player logs into a multiplayer world.

Each player UUID is only queried once! Afterwards this information is locally cached and no further accesses will be done. You can also prevent the very first query by adding the correct data to local config files.
