Hi, thanks for all your work on Miriam! We think it is a very clever design with great potential.

We have been working pretty heavily on it for the past months and have a number of improvements and validations. Since several of the issues we opened here in the Miroculus repository were not addressed within a span of weeks, and as agreed via email with Miroculus employees, we have been working in our own repository at https://github.com/strawlab/Miriam . Since some of these issues would prevent basic operation (e.g. #5, #6) or perhaps even fabrication (#7), it seems appropriate to redirect interested people to our repository where these issues have been addressed.

Therefore I have take then liberty of creating this pull request to announce our work. We would appreciate it if you would merge this pull request and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Many thanks once again for this great design and for open sourcing it so that we could do this!
