Just introducing more slowly the \beta notation with \bf{B} when estimated.

Confusing to add \bf{B} before bhat ? Better to introduce bhat before and use that?

I have often seen the notation being used in not too mathy textbooks, so there may be an interest in having both. In fact, the absolute right notation would be to use \bf{B} when there are actual values attributed, and $\hbeta$ when the estimator is defined (ie, \hbeta is a function of the data, known when data are known).
