Introducing xbar, the BitBar reboot (BETA)

NOTICE: This release is in beta and isn't yet ready to use - it is here only for those helping beta test

Thank you for trying the xbar beta release.

xbar replaces the BitBar project after a ground-up rewrite in Go.

  • Backwards compatible with existing BitBar plugins, now moved to their new home at https://github.com/matryer/xbar-plugins
  • Now supports variables and preferences
  • Introduces keyboard shortcuts for menu items
  • New interacting app for discovering and installing plugins
  • Browse plugins online at https://xbarapp.com/
  • v2.1.0 will be the initial release of xbar - continuing BitBar's release history (v2.0.x until then)

Can you help get it ready to release?

A beta release is not yet ready for production use. But we think it's very close, and with your help can get it over the line soon.
