Since MantisBT 1.3.x is about to be released, it is time to:

  • Branch master int master-1.2.x
  • Use master for development to be compatible with MantisBT 1.3.x.
  • Change the min version of MantisBT core to 1.3.0.

Hi vboctor,

  1. I will change the version to 1.0, and tag it.
  2. I will create the new branch for MantisBT 1.3.x.

If new development branch complete, I will merge to master and change version to 2.0.

For the future, GoogleOauth 1.x will support MantisBT 1.2.x, and GoogleOauth 2.x will support MantisBT 1.3.x.

This plan is ok ?

Thanks!!!

Sounds good. If you want to follow the branching model we use for MantisBT itself, you can create a master-1.2.x branch for supporting your v1. Then have the master branch be version as 2 and target MantisBT 1.3.x.

You can also have the readme refer users to the branch to use for each version.

Note that the latest MantisBT 2.x releases has support for Auth plugins, so the update should plug in as an auth provider.
