The accelerometer block can be input into any number slot. It has 3 axis, X, Y, and Z. Note that on many devices (such as a MacBook Pro), Z will be 0, because it doesn't measure the Z axis.

Devices that probably have an accelerometer:

MacBook Pro (HDD)
MacBook Air (HDD only)
Some laptops

Devices that don't have an accelerometer:

MacBook Air (SSD only)
Every PC ever
Apple non-laptop computers
Raspberry Pi (even if you attach an accelerometer, this site won't be able to detect it).
