throw out np, as it gives more headaches than it resolves

After all the configuraion an dworkarounds to get it working, it still does not publish correctly:

Command failed with exit code 128: git describe --abbrev=0 --tags
fatal: No names found, cannot describe anything.
```
This seems to be the open issue from early 2020: sindresorhus/np#506
