I think this order makes more sense. First a tour de data types where one also learns more about the fundamentals of dealing with e.g. scRNAseq and then we get to more detailed subjects.

I don't have a super strong opinion because these two are the most polished sections and you get quality material if you click on them either way.

I agree that logically/pedagogically you first need to work through the "data types" and then you can have an "atlas".

But "atlas" is not on top for logical reasons, but for sales reasons. It's the main reason people are coming to Lamin ("make something like cellxgene") and I wanted it to be the most visible use case. It's also the first thing here: https://lamin.ai/use-cases. The first page in Atlas points to the scrna guide when it comes to "how do I create this" but people first see the experience of navigating through it:
