Why PDFs Instead of AI Files

The reason why we use .pdf files on this repository instead of .ai files is three-fold:

• Simplicity - The .pdf format is lighter than the .ai format and the .ai format offers no additional features that are needed to represent Ladybug Tools icons.
• Flexibility - The .pdf files on this repository are usable across many different versions of Illustrator, which greatly helps in cases where some of us are not able to upgrade as quickly as others.
• Readability - We wanted those in our community who do not have an Adobe Illustrator license to be able to view the original vector versions of the icons (in Adobe Reader, for example).
