minor formatting enhacement

add spaces between arguments when logging multiple arguments

swap out an error for a debugging message; this error prevented having multiple console being simultaneously scrolable with pgup/pgdn, only the first one would work and then second one would fail to set listeners when it observed the globa having already been set.
