First public beta release. Published also on Google Play beta channel (Google Play flavor) and F-Droid (basic flavor). This release features the switch to the Gradle build system, media encryption, brand new emoji set by Emojicon and a whole lot of bugfixes and improvements.
A sad news thought: because of Google Play services we had to raise minSdk to 9 for the Google Play flavor. The basic flavor will still build against API level 8 though.
