Desktop Node Release 1.0.1

We’re excited to share Desktop Node version 1.0.1, an update packed with fixes and improvements to further streamline your experience during and after the migration to mainnet.

Fixes and Improvements 🛠️

  1. Enhanced UX for Migration Flow:

    • Improved guidance for users who have KOII tokens but lack sufficient KPL token balance to stake on new mainnet tasks, making the process clearer.
    • The migration flow now skips automatically for users who haven’t finished onboarding, avoiding unnecessary steps.

  2. Key Bug Fixes:

    • Fixed an issue where the node wouldn’t initialize and tasks wouldn’t load if onboarding was skipped too early.
    • Resolved a problem where the referral code notification banner wouldn’t disappear after clicking its CTA.
    • Addressed a bug where balance boxes displayed incorrectly for balances lower than 0.001, ensuring accurate information.

  3. UI Updates:

    • Token Launch Counter Widget: This widget was hidden after its purpose was completed.
    • Re-added Task Search Filters: Task filters are now back, improving usability on both the My Node and Add Tasks screens.

  4. Network Switch Improvements:

    • Enabled the ability to switch to mainnet for users ready to join, while keeping the reverse switch disabled for now.
