A MIxS extension paper. Which I will be a coauthor on, and will include the envoPolar contributions I did during my lab rotation.
Ecotone, Polar express, Hot tub time machine.
We'll want minimum 30 concepts of interest, categories such as seawater flushed ice. Talk about the age of ice (ice age) in terms of thickness and compression.
They'll describe ice core horizons (like is done for soil) but the boundaries sound fiat to me just 10cm intervals (or similar)
Important topic: atmosphere and ice gas exchange, for example DMSO and methane exchange.
My job in this will probably be to make sure we have ENVO correlates for the MIXs content/concepts. JZ will send around a google spreadsheet for experts to put their content term requests in, which we will harvest into ENVO.
