To run the build from Intellij Idea (with JDK 12 or later):

All compiler documentation is in CompilerDocumentation.md

Build the project (Ctrl+F9).
Click on the Maven tool side toolbar.
Click the "m" icon in the Maven side window.
Set command line options to "clean javafx:run".
Working directory should be set to bsueducs222 package folder
Click "Execute".
