The kabanero-operator has the following new features since version 0.8.0:

• Move to openshift-pipelines-operator 0.11.2, which includes the tekton.dev v1beta1 API
• Move to the GA version of OpenShift Serverless Operator (currently version 1.7.0)
• Move to Tekton dashboard and webhooks extension 0.6.1.3, deploy in tekton-pipelines namespace
• Move to appsody-operator.v0.5.1
• Move to open-liberty-operator.v0.5.1
• Install Kabanero events-operator by default
• Gitops pipelines in the Kabanero CRD
• kabanero-operator-registry and kabanero-operator use image digests instead of tags
• Kabanero operator deployment resources are now labeled in accordance with: https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/overview/working-with-objects/common-labels/#labels

This is a release-candidate and it is our intention to delete this release and its associated containers in 90 days.
