- Part of the 3 person app team responsible for all stages of the software development lifecycle of CT Organiser Toolbox cross-platform mobile application. Named as App Team Lead due to communication skills, ability to take initiative and co-ordinate team.
- Increased app performance at times of peak usage by improving Node.js server retrieval of data from MySQL database and in-house sales API, refactoring server side functions to minimise unnecessary data transfer and optimising UI rendering
- Implemented improvements in App team release processes to minimise chance of bugs being released in production, such as setting up of staging version of app, testing at real events ahead of full events
- Redesigned and released new checkout screens to enhance user experience and implemented more robust server side handling of checkout process
- Improved testing processes based on learning from retros by making regression testing process more thorough and testing sheet clearer

- During this time I gained an interest in web development through my involvement in digital comms and creating engaging content for website and social media channels
- I loved building Salesforce reports or my own well-ordered, attractively designed, automated Excel spreadsheet more than most people which led me to explore avenues into software development
