Github development

Where I document stuff I stumbled upon with Github tools and development workflow.
Pages and wiki and the project itself have different Git repositories. Wiki is integrated to Github main view, but project pages are in their own domain (username.github.com/project). Wiki and even project repository's files can be edited through the web. Except that special wiki pages like _Sidebar.ext, _Header.ext and _Footer.ext have to be created in a Git clone of the wiki repo. Then they appear in the web editor.
This is not that complicated, but I found the documentation from old blog posts, Gollum's and Hyde's (wiki and pages, respectively) repositories than actual Github documentation.
