Isaac Lab 2.0 Now Available

A new 2.0 version of Isaac Lab is now available.

The latest release includes new features, performance and usability improvements:

• Imitation Learning Workflow: GR00T-Mimic in Isaac Lab enables developers to generate synthetic trajectories from captured human demonstrations

• Tiled rendering: Improved tiled rendering performance by up to 1.2x and support for multiple TiledCamera instances of varying resolutions

• Quality of life improvements: Simplified installation process using Python package managers and a new Isaac Lab container enabling the movement of workloads across systems without underlying dependencies.

• Performance Improvements: Faster startup time through optimizations in the Cloner class that improves startup time by 30%.

NOTE: With significant changes to renaming and restructuring, users should update their workflows to prevent issues with their existing code.
