good question. I think you CAN, but if you will. Than MUST market it and twitter it as like Yet another way IS makes cosmos secure by verifiable deterministic build pipeline.

So answer is YES, bug iff it will be marketed as super security feature.

Why? All people will use official image until they understand well why they can use alternative.
