What's new ?

  • Activities are now ordered according to their reshare date. If you don't like it, you can always come back to the BuddyPress default order from the Options tab of the BuddyPress Settings screen.
  • The Activity single page now includes a navigation to discover who reshared and who favorited the activity.
  • The Post single template (when the BuddyPress Blogs component is active) now includes Reshare & Favorite buttons to directly perform these actions from the Post.
  • Activity authors will receive a Screen Notifications when their activity has been newly reshared (when the BuddyPress Notifications component is active).
  • From the Options tab of the BuddyPress Settings screen, you can also activate the option to send an email notification to the Activity author when one of their activities is reshared.

Configuration needed

  • WordPress 4.8+
  • BuddyPress 2.8+ (Make sure the Activity component is active!)

Installation

We suggest the following steps to beta test BP Reshare 2.0.0.

  • Download the bp-reshare.zip file from the Downloads section.
  • Install bp-reshare.zip using the WordPress upload tool within the Plugins administration.
  • Activate BP Reshare.

Upgrade

In case you are upgrading from 1.0.0, we advise you to install Entrepôt 1.1.0+ as BP Reshare 2.0.0 is using its Uprade API. Otherwise you'll need to perform manually the upgrade tasks.
