Transferring SAves to DeSmuME can be useful when you want to take advantage of features that are currently not in iNDS or not working as attended.

Requirements

Transferring Saves to Computer

If you already have a method that you know of to transfer saves back to your computer, you can skip this section.

Otherwise, there are two recommended methods of transferring saves to your computer, one involves using Dropbox while the other uses iTunes.

iTunes transfer

First, connect your iOS device to your computer. From there, open iTunes and click the device icon in the left corner of the navigation bar. Then go to File Sharing, iNDS, and your ROMs and saves should be shown, with the saves in a folder called Battery.

Dropbox transfer

After setting up Dropbox on your computer and in iNDS, navigate to your Dropbox folder, then Apps, then iNDS. Your save files should appear here.

Transferring your Saves to DeSmuME

Open DeSmuME, then click the File menu and click the Reveal Game Data Folder option. This will open the Game Data folder in your file browser. If there does not already appear a Battery folder, then create one and drop your saves inside. Note this will only work for in-game saves and not save states.

Playing your ROMs in DeSmuME

After transferring your game data to DeSmuME, ROMs can be opened normally and have their game data associated with them.
