We are five bachelor students of the Software Architecture Group at the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam.
We are collaborating with font engineer Lasse Fister from @graphicore to improve the process of font design and font engineering.
Our goal is to build prototypes of tools that support collaboration of designers that jointly work on a font project.
Eventually, we want to make the font design process more open. With an open process and a supportive community, we think there is an increased chance to create fonts even for rare type scripts.
