pippi

Pippi is an erlang web framework with websocket.

Pippi need R17+.
If you want to use gut, you should not use 17.3 because an exist ssl bug known.

You can use pippi to create an erlang websocket backend, and use angularJS as web client.

usage

how to create an pippi backend?

We use gut, a pretty generator.

1. gut new pippi {{you_app_name}}

$ gut new pippi myapp

2. input y if you want to auto run rebar tasks

The generator wants to run the following list of commands:
1. rebar g-d co
2. cd tests & rebar co & cd ..
3. chmod a+x *.sh

3. then you got a app dir and files like this:

- README.md
- auto_test.sh
- run.sh
- rebar.config

4. run your app and test:

$ ./auto_test

how to use angular-pippi in angular?

1. add this line to bower.json:

  "dependencies": {
    ...
    "angular-pippi": "~0.1.2"
  }

2. import pippi module in your angular project:

    ...

3. use $webservice and $auth in pippi module:
