The Mod CryoEngines (and by extension CryoTanks) have been updated to include Methalox fuel tank options for stock tanks. However the Kiwi Tech Tree mod overrides these options blocking support for Methane fuel tanks. Please update the mod to add these fuels to stock tanks. I'm sure alot of players will appreciate it. Thank you for the awesome mod!

Workaround is to delete the following files:

  • GameData/KiwiTechTree/Configurations/Mods/CryoTanks/CryoTanksFuelTankSwitcher_Composite.cfg
  • GameData/KiwiTechTree/Configurations/Mods/CryoTanks/CryoTanksFuelTankTypes_Composite.cfg

I haven't tried the new version of Cryogenic Engines in KTT 1.4, but the way to enable methalox engines already existed in the old version of Cryogenic Engines and KTT, that was to create a folder CryoTanksMethalox in the GameData folder. Deleting the files will lead to also breaking the upgrades for the fuel tanks, but if those were unwanted it shouldn't cause any game breaking issues. There is still the issue that all of the hydrolox now have unneeded methalox variants

In CryoTanks 1.2.0 the CryoTanksMethalox switch was added and in 1.6.0 it was removed and made default. It is pity that CryoTanks did not add the :FOR[CryoTanksMethalox] itself, it would have worked automatically, but now I will submit a pull request removing the :NEEDS[CryoTanksMethalox] conditionals. Afterwards, consistency and compatibility with ProceduralParts should be fixed.

It should be fixed in the latest version in Github, still have another 26 mods that need to be checked as they've updated in the last release before I release the 1.5 update.
