I am guessing that Hazelcast is abandoning this project. Maybe it is an enterprise-only thing now. But I refactored the POMs a bit, upgraded them, removed tomcat6 support, and added tomcat10.
The tests fail for tomcat85 (always did) and tomcat9/tomcat10 do not run with the spring-boot configuration (never seemed to run before the upgrade).
But now we are able to build against tomcat10. It is still built against hazelcast v4 as v5 need jdk17+ (tomcat10 needs only v11). I am not sure if you can use at runtime with hz v5 or not.
