File formats

Pedigree file

The pedigree file contains from 1 to 6 columns. Columns 2 to 5 are optional, but all previous columns have to be included. (i.e. to include column 4, columns 1, 2 and 3 also have to be included.)

1. Sample name
2. Father name
3. Mother name
4. Family
5. Sex
6. Phenotype

Marker file

The marker file is a Plink map-file, but may contain additional columns (col 5-7).

2. Marker name
3. Genetic distance
4. Position
5. Allele A
6. Allele B
7. Alias
