Empowering Accessibility: Version 1.0.0 Debut with NFC Tagging and Spatial Audio
Pre-release
Release Notes
Version 1.0.0 - Initial Release
This first release of the accessibility app is designed to assist visually impaired individuals with two important features:
-
NFC Tag Identification:
- This feature enables users to easily identify daily objects and their contents by tagging them with an NFC tag. Whether it's spice boxes, t-shirts, or other personal items, users can quickly read and write information to these tags for seamless identification.
-
Spatial Audio and Head Tracking (Beta):
- This release includes an early version of a spatial audio feature that uses head tracking technology. This feature aims to aid navigation by providing real-time spatial sound cues, helping users orient themselves in different environments.
Planned for Future Releases:
-
Complete Navigation with Spatial Audio:
- Future updates will expand the spatial audio feature to handle full navigation, offering more comprehensive guidance for visually impaired users.
-
Locating Tagged Objects Using Spatial Audio:
- Upcoming features will allow users to locate tagged objects through spatial audio cues, further enhancing the app's practicality in everyday life.
