Field group layout conventions

There are several possibilities to style field groups in ACF. We have chosen a simple layout which we adhere to in all cases, mainly to prevent a wild variety of layouts throughout a project.

Layout conventions

The following applies to both groups added to post types, flexible content and options pages:

• Leave the overall Style to Standard (WP metabox)
• Always start with a field of type Tab, which can be called Content or something more specific
• These tabs should be left aligned
• Add more tabs when appropriate to group fields and limit height
