generator-unity-vscode

Generates files needed by VSCode for Unity support

Installation

Install the following

• C# Extension for VS Code

• Yeoman and generator-unity-vscode using npm (we assume you have pre-installed node.js).

code --install-extension ms-dotnettools.csharp
npm install -g yo
npm install -g generator-unity-vscode

Then run this in your unity project:

yo unity-vscode

Now you can get Intellisense with your unity project in VSCode!

• Use Typescript
• Add auto updates for the microsoft unity analysers

Why should I use VS Code?

Simple: It uses less memory, and it is extremely powerful. FOR THE LAST TIME ITS AN IDE NOT A TEXT EDITOR SMH.
