Setting up OBS
There are three scenes that are super useful to have on your collection You can get creative and add other scenes, but these ones are the ones you most need.
Assuming you have a second monitor, fullscreen VLC on that monitor and just cast it as a Display Capture source with an Audio Output Capture.
A fullscreen Video Capture Device, with an Audio Input Capture.
Any time you need a break from streaming, you can switch to this scene. Use a fullscreen Image or Video source. You might want to play some music as well, if so add the Audio Output Capture device too.
Because it is easy to make mistakes enabling and disabling audio streams, it’s a good idea to have mute/unmute for your Audio Input Capture and Audio Output Capture bound to hotkeys so you can quickly toggle them. Go to File -> Settings -> Hotkeys and set some keyboard inputs.
Have some music on standby. Scene music is best, of course!
