The latest update brings the following
Features:
Create Sales Order instead of Sales Invoice for fees generation.

Patches:

  1. Add "Item Group" called "Fee Component"
  2. Create "Student" & "Fee Schedule" field in "Sales Order" DocType.
  3. Change Existing status from the field "fee_creation_status" to "status"
