King Sisyphus

You, the player. Sisyphus is a total dick. Cunning, he will do anything to get out of doing work, especially if it's at the expense of others. He once tricked death (Thanatos) himself in his own realm. He talked his way back from the dead just to berate his wife for naively following his dying wishes. He is now tricked by Zeus into hurling rocks over a hill for eternity. He is the anti-hero of the game. He thinks he's winning, but he can never win.

Zeus

Zeus has had enough of Sisyphus' tomfoolery, but especially at him thinking he's better than the gods. He's devised a clever plan to defeat Sisyphus by having him roll rocks over a hill with the hope of escape.

Persephone

Sisyphus' jailer, of sorts. She acts as the tutorial and guide to the player. She's having none of his lip.

Brodin

The All-Bro! Son of Odin, the All-Father. Brodin shows up as comic relief, to help, to just comment on Sisyphus's plight, or for just good ol mythology genre smashing fun. A total bro. None too bright, but also with a short attention span. Sisyphus can get Brodin to help, but only for a little while before he wanders off.
