This is an attempt to make builds more reliable, so that conversion from Windows to Portable is unnecessary for Linux and Mac.

Embedded PDBs are portable though so curious what problem this solves. |

Post testing, this won't fix the build reliability issues we are seeing. Will re-investigate and try a new approach. |
