zOld ASO list for 2016

We started this on Feb.3 but could not complete due to ASO troubles, anyhow it should have all high level items. Still need to review current git issues and add here important ones.

  1. Handle more then 100 users
  2. enable users to kill xfers via Crab (i.e. crab kill also kills xfers)
  3. finalize detailed paln for ASO rotation
  4. optimize grouping of views and move to Erlang for everything
  5. multiple FTS servers: server should be a property of the transfer, not of the ASO instance
  6. CRAB should be able to throttle load on slow channels by killing/holding/slowing DAGs
  7. session reuse
  8. more/better monitoring ?
  9. automatic/easytodo/forced merge jobs ? Avoid having to deal with ziliions of small files :-(
  10. CRAB to check stageout OK even before resubmit (now only before submit)
  11. black list of banned stageout location from SSB, not configuration ? Is it needed once we have the two above ?
