# Gleam (via Github Releases) (gleam)

Gleam is a friendly language for building type-safe, scalable systems. (Gleam compiles to Erlang code, so Erlang needs to be installed to run Gleam code.)

## Example DevContainer Usage

```json
"features": {
"ghcr.io/devcontainers-contrib/features/gleam:1": {}
}
```

## Options

| Options Id | Description | Type | Default Value |
|-----|-----|-----|-----|
| version | Select the version to install. | string | latest |
