once downloaded, go back into the add-ons menu, select your newly added addon, press 'config' & set "enable-new-filter": true," (1st line of config code in late Aug 2023)

if you're running anki ≤2.1.59 (or don't need to use AnkiDroid):

go into Browse, search for "note:\*\*\*Cloze type: ring enclosed (REF.)", click cards, find & replace "{{fill-blanks:cloze:Front}}" with "{{type:cloze:Front}}" on the Front side. on the Back, paste (replace) the contents of the "59ctype" file, also in this repo
